Things changed. Maybe the taste changed as well. One thing I can be sure of was that the gula-gula ketuk used to be very hard and tend to stick to your teeth.

I was in Jonker Walk and bought a packet of this candy. Sad to say the taste was not up to mark and in fact we threw away the rest after tasting a small piece.

Another accident occured today. This time caused two fatalities. A driver of a Benz who was hit by a lorry turning into a junction and a motorcylist who hit the left side lorry at the back. When i arrive at the scene the firemen was opening the roof of the wreck car to take out the driver. Miraclously the wife of the driver and his child escape with injuries. This happen after the junction at the rear entrance of MMU.

Authourities should put up traffic lights at that junction so that there will be less accidents occuring there.

Drivers also approaching dangerous intersection please beware of the traffic conditions and drive your car as you would like other to drive your car.

I generally agree with your take. However, this is assuming that the Bill has this intention to raise accountability for all IT work done. If that is the intent of the Bill, then it needs more work & feedback from the ICT community. Because there are certainly better ways to qualify companies who can take on projects, especially high risk ones. There's too much ambivalence about what kind of IT positions need to be certified and what kind of work needs to be accounted for.

Also IT is a multi-disciplinary industry: coding or systems integration aren't just IT. It consists of design, visual and system alike, project management, marketing, sales, etc, etc. Are you going to shut out everyone just because they don't have that IT qualification? Skills & past work don't matter?

Someone is not thinking clearly & thoroughly or they have vested interest.

I bought my furniture from santorini two years ago and from day one i was having
bad experience with this kevin. i spent about $13,0000 on the furniture and all i get
from this was heartache. The dining set chairs are only 2 years old and the leather
is already peeling off. Out of six chairs, three are already in need of replacement.
i talked to kevin about the problem and all i get were empty promises. He moved his office with no action taken. Recently i found his new office in subang and went there again to get him to do something. Again after much "leg dragging" he finally sent his so-"technician" to look at the chairs last week and after that no action or feed back as usual.

i would like to suggest that we form an action group and lodge a joint complaint
to the consumers association of malaysia. What do you all think?

My experience with Santorini was terrible, but eventually I DID get the refund, but after 7 months! Luckily, there is the body called Consumer Tribunal, which I had gone to back in November 2010, and the case was awarded to me by default, as the personnel from Santorini didn't turn up on the day of the hearing. However. it didn't end there, as the shop never took action to refund me, until I went to the Bahagian Penguatkuasaan of the Consumer Tribunal around December. That body is supposed to enforce the tribunal award, when I had exhausted the time period allowed for the shop to answer to the case. To everyone out there, there's still hope if you have been conned by them.
